Jock Itch: Boxers or Briefs?

I've been fighting an epic battle with jock itch for the past couple of weeks.  I've never had it before, and I've gotta say, it's just about the worst shit thats ever happened to me.  My balls and thighs itch all day, but I can't scratch it because it'll make it worse.  And the skin is all cracked and painful, it's terrible.

When it first started, my friend told me to use gold bond and switch from boxers to briefs.  I've been doing that, bt it hasn't helped.  Yesterday, I started using Tinactin spray, and another friend told me I should switch back to boxers.

So Shroomery, should I wear boxers or briefs while I battle the dreaded condition known locally as "swamp balls"?

Seems to me you would want plenty of air flow to keep everything dry if that's in fact that is the real problem...

I'm fairly certain it's jock itch.  My ex-girlfriend was nice enough to give me chlamydia for Christmas, but I got treated for that and there's no other symptoms other than the itching.

i'm gonna try boxers tonight at work.  My friend recommended briefs because he said it would keep the skin from rubbing against itself, but like you said, there's not a lot of airflow.

I just got over a bad case of jock itch a few months ago.

Tried a few anti fungals, but still wouldn't fully clear up.

So i went commando, and it was gone in a few days.

Still gone, and im still not wearing any, fuck that itch.

Boxers and shower every day and change boxers everyday! very important. Also make sure you dry your crotch very throughly        because the moistness of the crotch is like cancun for drunken fungal infections.
