Shrimp kebob's

So i've been eye'ing raw shrimp for awhile, but always avoided it thinking it would be a hassle. It was always the cooked shrimp that i used in stuff, or just went for it straight with cocktail sauce.  But then i was watching a cooking show and they did some kebobs and it inspired me to finally get some.

by far one of the best ways of eating shrimp. I made a terriaki glaze and put it on next to two whole jalipinios and a small onion (raquet ball size)... :drooling:

sounds chron.  i always boil that shit with a rub on it and it's chronchron.  equally simple & quick.

the glaze was easy. I put some soy sauce in a pan on medium heat and added a touch of corn starch before it heated up (otherwise it will get all lumpy). then i added a shit ton of brown sugar and a little bit of rice vinegar.  While that was heating up i minced ginger and garlic in with a little bit of onion powder, and a lot of fresh cracked black pepper.  then stirring occasionally let it thicken. I had to add some more brown sugar to sweeten it up.

If i had it, i would have put some pineapple juice in with it.

but right when the shrimp went on they got a glaze on the top, then flipped a few minutes later and another heaping glaze on the cooked side. Then i put some sesame seeds on that side, cooked then flipped again, reglazed and let them cook for a minute or so to get some direct flame on the seeds (my room mate cooked burgers the other day and now the grill is all dirty with grease fires galore.)

Oh, and i almost forgot that i added a few squirts of ketchup to help tone the salt flavor.
