Fuck NBC, he is way better than Leno. Plus he's younger so he will be around longer. He's getting a payout of 34 million dollars though. So I'm sure he's a happy camper.

i'll be watching it with a buddy of mine. we've been a fan of his since we first moved in together in 06'. been through many times with him.

our routine was drinking soco and OJ while watching him and playing super mario. think we'll do it for old times sake tonight!

Conan's a favorite of mine and I'm very sad to see him go, I hear he'll be back in September somewhere though. And yeah, 34 million dollars for a 7 month gig? I'd be the happiest man alive.

I believe it was 45 million -- 43 million for him, and 2 million split between his staff.

No it was in the 30's, I think his staff had to split around 10 million.

Have they changed it since last night?

Edit:  43 million to him, and 2 million to his staff is what was mentioned on NBC news last night.  But after checking google, I see reports of both 33 million, and 43 million.  :shrug:

I like the newspaper thing.

But it's Leno's writers who are funny.

But I'm sure the same goes for Conan, really.  Though I heard he still put out decent material during the writer's strike.

Yeah Conan has funny writers but he used to be a writer for SNL so I think he's a genuinely funny guy. He was a writer for Sandler and Ferrell and all those guys I believe.
