give it a listen, tell me what you think.  the breakdown is a little bland for my normal taste, but i am waiting for a really good idea to fill the eventual gap.

Not a bad effort for home-made. Kinda reminded me of an old Bomberman videogame sound track.

But, I thought it sound more like a minimal old-skool version of a psy-trance song than "housey-psytrance" as you describe in the title. House usually has Jazzy stabs, more "organic" sounded melodies, and sometimes lyrics (but not always). This was more like sped-up simple techno or minimal psy-trance. I like more complex, multi-layered, multi-melody psy-trance, complex and abstract,....this was just the opposite, but that's just my taste.

As for the breakdown at time 3:15, I thought it sounded really bad. It doesn't sound like its part of the song. No transition, no mix, no "sudden jump" SFX or melody, like there is in a lot of psy-trance. And the percussion/drums was too simple and generic. Might want to work on that to make it sound more interesting and "lively".

On the plus side, I liked the bass-line. :thumbup: It had that classic psy-trance tempo and rhythm. I loved those "fly-in" videogame-like SFX thru-out the track, those were an excellent touch! :thumbup:.

As for the ending, too minimal again. But the ending did sound like most House tracks: simplifing as it ends. Psy-trance typically goes complex to the very end, then end outs of nowhere (at least the kind I listen to). But the videogame SFX at the *very* end was a nice touch.

BTW, what audio program do you use? I thought I heard some SFX from "FruityLoops", but I'm not sure.

Of course, I critique something I can't make for Sh*T: EDM. I give you props man, it ain't easy making a good EDM track. Good effort, but minimal is not my style.

I use Cubase.  I agree on a few of those things, I was going for kinda cheezy.
