Mag Beta is out

Dling it now.... everyone was saying it takes an hour....

taking me about 10 minutes.

256 people on one map... if this shit is stable it is going to give MW2 a run for its money.

well, it was open at 7am central time, and i got on about 930. seems pretty cool, but i couldnt get into a game. which sucks pretty hard.

im going to try again in a few hours.

I've heard some not great things about it. That, as a shooter, it is totally average; all there are are the big firefights, and even then the map is split into four quadrants of 32 vs 32 (same as the Battlefield games on computer), and overlapping isn't as common as you'd hope.

I do know nothing about the game though, and heard this a while ago from someone who was in on the Beta before it was publically released.

k, got to play it for about an hour. kept getting kicked, but im sure they didnt expect this many people to dl the beta.

anyway, the gameplay is bulky, but it is pretty realistic in every other sense. I never once experienced any lag, but here are the major problems:

the maps are even too big for 256 people and they all seem like they were designed by someone who wants everyone to snipe.

pretty much it is unbalanced as of right now: sit off in a random corner and snipe without anyone ever finding you, or run around with an LMG, fully padded. the assault classes dont compare at all.

plus the plot of the game is really unclear. you join one of 3 factions and they battle for contracts

I'm a sniper, I should love this game.

I'll try it out later. I downloaded it before, took 5 mins to download not an hour?
