why does 12chan exist?

Thats my question. Now I won't pretend that I haven't seen the site. But I'm asking this because there is blatant mistreatment of children on that site. Yes I am being a moralfag. Ok, get that out of your system.

But my point is, its just wrong. Surely there is some illegal content on there. Why doesn't the host of the site get busted for child porn? I just don't get why that site exists. There is something suspicious about this. is it protected somehow?

Is it because it is legal? the content is technically legal?

And the way I see it, the site is actually a great, modern representation of Inferno. it goes deeper and deeper into the depths of hell.
Even though the content hinges on aspects of all of the different levels,
most people over there are simply in Limbo The most obvious would be levels 2-4(limbo, lust, gluttony, avarice and greed)

Thing is, these people don't seem to have any idea how awful what they are doing it really is.

right, but my question is...why can't these things merely be shut down? Don't give the temptation to the people.
I know there are a lot out there. Worst part is that most of them actually work and live in close proximity to their desires. more often than not.

I was being serious. No children are raped or molested in any pictures.

12chan something you personally dont benefit from so you want legal action against it. If another victimless crime, lets say marijuana use was brought up you may not want to have it banned.

There is indeed a victimless way to see this sort of thing if you want. just head out into the street.
but my point is, I don't feel that its victimless. its an active part in altering a child's development.

I guess i'm just wondering why it seems so easy for a site like that to operate. I'm surprised no crusader out there has raised hell about it. I'm not a hellraiser. I just want discussion.

we are all fuck ups in some way or another. my curiosity of all the facets of life and existence happens to be a blessing and a curse.
Some people will look in on something from outside without the need to understand it and make a judgment.
Maybe for me, i end up going full circle. Knowing its pretty evil from the start, and then in through the process of understanding, saying wow, that IS evil. You then understand a more true nature of evil.
