...in the opposite direction when you go to move it, does that mean someone else is moving it?

Like when you call up PC support & they take control...

Can the popo do that?

What type of mouse are you using?  And what about your USB (assuming you're using a USB connection)?  I used to have a mouse that would jump around the screen and stuff, it was a microsoft wireless infrared mouse.  I replaced it with an extremely high end Razor Lachesis mouse (I don't really recommend blowing $60-$70 on that specific mouse unless you're a hardcore gamer), that problem has vanished.  Also my keys sometimes would not type perfectly on one of my older keyboards.  You'd press keys and no typing would occur until you disconnected and reconnected it.

Chances are you have driver/hardware issues, and it's not hacking.  People who hack don't see your 'desktop' or any GUI for that matter, it's mostly code and directories if they're exploring.

Depending on what surface you're moving the mouse on, it can sometimes jump around in strange directions (assuming it's optical, not a rollerball)

You can control the desktop using a backdoor program.  In my younger days there was a program called subse7en that could do it.  Lots of fun taking over my friends PC's.  It required a bit of social hacking to get them to run an executable.  :shrug:

Yeah but that's the opposite of conspicuous, and as I recall, that program had horrible control abilities.

if someone has remote control over your desktop then you fucked up by not noticing your computer has been overtaken before it gets to that point.

or you got hacked by someone who really knows what they're doing

very unusual for hackers to go so far as to install remote desktop on your computer tho. I'd say its probly just your mouse or a glitch. unless you notice the mouse (onscreen) moving freely and doing stuff without you touching it. they dont need a remote desktop to get your info. if a hacker has enough control over your computer to install remote desktop, then he DEFINITELY has the ability to get all your important info without using a technique like remote desktop which is pretty much guaranteed to alert you to his presence.

I was using usb connection mouse on a mac, laser not rollerball, its pretty old & fucked up so its probly just the old mouse jumping around, there's dents on the mouse mat aswell

Right after i asked 'if your mouse moves does that mean they are watching?', when i moved the mouse it jumped all the way to other end of the screen

Im growing weed for the first time so im kinda para about everything :lol:
