Local lady to sue hospital

Seems she had abdominal pain and went to the emergency room. So many people were there for treatment that she went home after waiting for hours - and gave birth to stillborn baby.

She was obese and unaware of being pregnant. So naturally, she is suing the hospital. She has no responsibility for being unemployed, being overweight, being unaware of the changes going on her body nor her failure to visit a gynecologist or obstetrician.

Nope - hospital's (read: Evil Big Business) fault.

Seems pretty typical these days, personal responsibility isn't something most people are familiar with anymore.

In what way does she feel that the hospital was negligent?

Why how I love your blame the "big business" sarcasm. Hospitals have a duty, regardless of who comes in the door, regardless of the situations.

Dumb ass, and most hospitals in the US operate as a non-profit.
