Well im in my own buziness.....

Woke up at 10 today, spaced out for an hour...

now cooking a pizza and taking a 6 hour siesta cos i aint got a fkn job in the first place

I'm unemployed. I get by.

I was walking home from the post office today, and just kept trying to understand. Why is it people toil away, mindlessly, for their entire lives at jobs they hate? Why do people live by a system that NOBODY likes? Why is it that society looks down on the hippies and homeless, who are just free spirits doing exactly what they want to do?

They have their priorities sorted out the best out of anybody. They are doing what they like - fuck everyone else.

But, I've been brainwashed, my entire life to believe that its wrong.

So, I feel terrible about being unemployed it really eats away at me.

But I think knowing that I was just slaving away for nothing would eat away at me even more.

:confused: being 20 sucks.

yeah i just graduated from college 6 months ago and gave up on applying and trying to find a job....just nothing out there, especially for an economics major

i worked about 30 hours a week for the city to get some cash but they let me go about 3 weeks ago until the spring or unless we get an unreal amount of snow this winter and they need my help

sucks living at home with the folks without a job...and i graduated before the few friends i have so they are still living it up at uni

i have so much damn time on my hands, i just wanna make some cash...ive taken up studying for the actuarial exams in hopes of passing the first one or two and getting a job for the time being but that is at least 6-12 months away...FUCK

im not working right now. my father is retired and i stay with him. im trying to take a step up as far as the quality of work i get so im bypassing fast food and retail. im alright with not working for now and my dad understands how hard it is to find good work. also spiritually i feel that if i were working right now i would be holding myself back.

I swear, on very frequent occasions posts in SA reflect my own life. I'm posting in this thread because I too am unemployed. Nothing worse than job searching to no fucking avail. I can't imagine doing any of the things that I'm qualified for. And then the only things that look good, I'm not qualified for!
Thing is, what makes it even worse, is that I'm in a foreign country trying to work. Not speaking the native language puts me on the same level as supermarket stockers and factory workers.
Not saying theres anything wrong with that, but I know my body and mind are worth far more than doing that kind of shit for many hours a day.

how come everyone limits themselves to finding a 'job' and working for someone else. why not do something on your own and make some fucking money on your own, out of your own creativity, from the sweat of your own brow. You sound like a bunch of uncreative lazy retards who don't have a resourceful bone in their entire body.
