DMT and Canary grass

ive been reading alot about dmt latley and found that its only produced 2 times in your life  when your born and the moment of clarity befor you die.

Ive found that they get the yellow DMT crystal from canary grass has anyone had experience with canary grass and or DMT

Yellow DMT has more to do with impurities, than the plant source.

Never tried canary grass, but I have heard that it contains some nasty shit that will be extracted with the final pulls.
That's just speculation, but as far as I concerned not really worth it when its just to get fuckered up.

This also might be better suited for another forum. Maybe PE.

The lot about DMT being produced at death and responsible for "after-life" experiences seems to be a lot of speculation with very little hard evidence.  There is DMT in the body, but no one's quite sure what it does.  The grasses are all generally considered pretty poor sources, with Mimosa hostillis root bark, and Psychotria viridis/alba foliage considered far superior.

theres been studies in the operating room with various hidden pictures and people have reported at near death experiences they have seen themselves in 3rd person and were able to see these hidden picture through out the room  weird

Whne my grandmother passed god bless her beloved sould she was such a good woman too young to die  she was very ill and then she eperienced this moment of clarity for about 5 mins and was very relaxed and excepting and talking about seeing dead family memeber in the room.

Agreed, speculatiion. Also, when he says superior, he means far far far superior.
Generally, MHRB is regarded as the best source for extraction and viridis is considered the better source for aya.

I've experienced yellow DMT made from mimosa root. It is by far the most intense experience I have had shapes and colors followed by an out of body experience and loss of perception of your surroundings (almost too intense for me). The process is simple I have seen it done. I am really surprised we don't see more of it.

Dispite all the neighsaying about the grasses etc its still worth playing with it. With Phalaris (canary grass) Its new growth thats the most potent. Ive heard of folk making ayahusca analogues with a wheatgress Juicer to Juice the new growth stems.

Nah... I'd say just stick with good ol' MHRB (Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark) ... There's a reason why the extracts are mostly being done with MHRB... Because it works, there's no complicated de-fatting chemistry processes involved, and it's easy... Also cheap on the wallet :wink:

if anyone who reads this thread ever finds phalaris, go ahead and make some low key huasca.. its worth it.. the visions are unlike other plants that contain "DMT" which in my opinion is such a broooadddd term..

i mean, there might be the actual DMT factor as the door, but its like, all the other alkaloids and what not in the plant itself, are what set it apart.. thats why brewing is key too, so you get the full experience..

i drank some grass with an maoi that was growing riiight near it, at one point the two were actually touching eachother.. and it was grand.. an amazing experience, whish i would have brewed more..

just dont mix in anything else unless you reallly know what it is..
thats how I got sick. lol

overall though, id say the visions mimick what the plant looks like, kind of if that makes sense... (yellow gold with brown streaks is how i explain it, which mimicks the grass i found)

just make sure you dont just pluck out all the greens.. leave some to grow :smile:

They ar eknown to contain gramine which is toxic but Ive yet to hear any reports of it causing any problem with anyone.

I know of no example of the body working this way; probably small amounts are produced throughout life with negligible effect on cognition.

I've heard of people using wheat grass juicers to extract the liquid from P. arundinacea. That might be a good start for an acid-base chemical extraction. Drying and pulverizing the grass would work too, probably with higher yield. There are better sources of DMT, but if you have a lot of it...

At this point there is zero hard evidence. It's probably just a byproduct of tryptophan metabolism to serotonin or a closely related compound. It would be fun if DMT did have a special role in the human body, but as good thinkers we are forced to look at the evidence, and there is nothing convincing at the moment.
