Clark - Totems Flare

I really like Chris Clark, and I think if you like electronic music you will like his work.  From what I hear out of him, he's akin to a less prolific Aphex Twin, but all his own. 

The first album I heard by him was Body Riddle and I have several tracks from that album in my journal's "Music" thread if you want a preview.  His most recent album "Totems Flare" is a different flavor all together so it's fresh and not a disappointment when comparing it to Body Riddle.

Every song is unique really, so try this out, and get some more if you like it.

This is deffo an amazing album, his best IMO though a bit overcompressed. The amount of fun that comes across in Clark's music is near unparalleled IMO.

It's a shame it doesn't get more exposure.  One of the most epic albums I've heard in a while.

I think you should upload something before I give up on finding something good by him.  I've found some really lame acoustic wannabe stuff, but nothing even similar at all to Clark.

Oh nice, I found the link at the bottom to DL the album.  I'm doing that now.  Sorry, it's very possible that the Ben Frost I was listening to earlier was a different guy all together.  :shrug:

He's similar to Clark's ambient pieces.
