welp, done with berlin.

hanging out with apolly and meow has been much fun.  they're both very cool, and apolly, believe it or not, is fairly normal in every day conversation.  it's been good times and i couldn't be more grateful to them.

so i'm hopping on a train in a few hours to head back to the Czech Republic.  i'll spend a night or so in prague, as i've gotta talk to the embassy to see if i'm straight so far as visas go.  then back to the farm for one last month.

i'm pretty certain i'll be coming back to berlin at some point this winter.  there's tons of stuff i didn't get around to seeing, so it'll be a good thing.

i feel like a bona fide traveler!

when i go back to berlin?  it seems unlikely i'd be able to do that.  i'm like 99% sure i'll  be going back to berlin before i'll be making it back to the states. 

my european travels aren't even half over.  assuming all goes well, i've got approximately eight months to go.  it is kinda crazy that i'm 1/3rd the way through a full year already.  that's a significant percent.

i'm currently in prague staying at a quaint and extremely affordable little hostel.  7 bucks a night.  i'm munching on a baguette, ramen, a can of tuna in tomato sauce, and a couple of czech beers.  and i'm about to step out and smoke a spliff.  with REAL weed!  not jwh!  thanks german-jamaicans!

i like prague.  i will definitely be coming back.  but this little foray is simply to visit the american embassy and get some info.  i'll be heading back to the farm this weekend to finish out my last month before the intense couch-surfing budget traveling commences.

arden had it right, i'm WWOOFing.  that is, i'm working on an organic farm for room and board.  and i'm also simply traveling now while the gettin's'good.

i've spent the last four months on a farm in the southernmost region of Czech, save the last two weeks which have been spent in paris and berlin.  i plan to end my stay at the farm for good in about a month or so [early january], at which time i will answer to no man, save my budget.  i have plans to get deeper into the couchsurf community, if possible, and to visit various friends who will be popping through at one point or another.  i want to see as much of europe as my limited budget will allow.  after six or seven months of aimless travels, assuming i have enough in my bank account, i hope to find another farm in a different region of czech to finish out my stay.
