i got a 2 month old shitzu and a skateboard is the next step a hill?

how do i get a animal to like a board instead of his feet?

You probably would have to skate with him a lot, like let him see you skate and keep putting him on the board. It would be cool if it works, but you may have to accept that your shitzu could be a gay rollerblader at heart. :frown: ya hate to see it..

he/she has to naturally be interested.  if he/she isnt, then hold lil shitzu in your arms as you ride to see his/her interest(for future reference).  then slowly as you cruise place him under you to stand on his own.  now the reaction he gave you before while in your hands should give an idea if he may panic and jump off hurting himself.

btw, lappso appso's are smarter, jk:tongue:.  i once owned both at different times and my appso had more personality.  my shitzu was picky but she reminded me of the ewok, so i had to love her!
