Me too. I like that holiday feeling, and Xmas is the biggest of them all, even if it is over-commercialized.

Whats sad is that people set aside a few days out of the year to enjoy themselves. Why not feel the same joy year round? I feel fucking exhilarated to be alive every single day, and do not need to buy people shit, or have people buy me shit in order to show the I care. The only reason we still celebrate the holidays is because Butterball, Coca-cola and Nintendo make too much fucking money off of the useless eaters.

Christmas is the shit. End of story. Tons of food and drink.

I will be drinking mimosas and beer all day long with the people I love most in this world.

I barley ever get to see them because they are all busy with work and shit.

I hope I get an AK47 like my uncle promised me earlier this year. My first assault rifle:awesome:

I don't consider celebrations a negative thing, I quite enjoy them myself, I'm just referring to all of the wretched greed and materialism that comes out of everyone during these celebrations.

Same here. I like Christmas.
It's not about the presents. I never really want anything, but Christmas shopping and wrapping presents and making a big deal of watching everyone open them makes my mom really happy. So I let her do it.

I agree that the greed of some people around the holidays is pretty awful, but I don't think you guys should let that spoil it. The holidays are a time to be happy and appreciate the people you love.

It's not. Its greedy when people enter malls and toy stores and knock each other out of the way to get an item they want. Especially during pre/post-holiday sales. Its greedy when two guys beat up a 50 year old lady who just picked up the last Xbox for her grandson in the parking lot at Gamestop.
Just a few examples of some of the insanity I witness during the holidays. Again, I'm not attacking the general idea of the holiday season, just the insanity that occurs throughout that time. I'm not even going to mention all of the family drama that comes out during the holidays :lol:
