Does the internet worsen or better Punctuation/literacy?
    #11453120 -

I was just thinking bout this, and you could honestly go both ways thinking bout., You could say that the more people use the internet(message boards, chats, IMs, you could even throw in the idea of SMS) the more practice they get, but with horrible practice the worse there punc't goes, and the more they practice the wrong punc't the worse its ingrained in there way of doing. You could also argue that perhaps it makes it better, naturally with more practice and anyone who cares might make it so they practice better punc't or spelling or whatever is involved.

I mean when I communicate on the internet, I generally dont give too much to post processing., I care rather alot about punc't and spelling, giving the newer technology spelling isn't really that big of an issue.

i notice bad punctuation and spelling all the time.

i dont think the internet makes the situation better or worse. if youre the type of person who notices then you will notice. if you are the type that doesnt care then you wont.

doesnt really matter what the medium is. its all about personality.

Some you probably already know what I'm about to post...

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree.

It may depend on the person.
The Internet certainly hasn't hurt my punctuation, if anything it has made it better.
