exploding jawbreakers.. . the fuk

I hadnt heard of this before but i just turned the tv on and they are talking about it on mythbusters.  One case was this 9 year old girl in FL went to enjoy a Jawbreaker.. dat shit xploded burning the shit out of her face and arm. Look it up on utube and post a vid maybe if you wish to help this post out, or just let this pointless post sink into the depths of hell...    I'm feeling too lazy :smile:

I was too busy posting this gdit to take notice *slap* , I think the problem behind this whole thing is that people are heating them up in the microwave for some reason.. .. annnd, we are the smartest things on this planet?

Hard boiled eggs will do it too.

More of a surprise than any real damage though.

ever been in Fl in the summer? this place is a microwave, she might have left it in the sun or in a car somewhere and didnt think about it till too late. I think the packaging might say not to leave in the sunlight but i dont remember.

Tampa is actually the lightning capital of i think the world, and its partly due to all the heat caused by massive amounts of asphalt. Discovery channel was talkin about it yesterday, said the city can commonly be 15 degrees warmer than surrounding areas.

not necessarily microwaving them but it seems like they do need to get heated in some way.

Mythbusters concluded that certain layers will melt before others creating inner pressure. So if you bite down the molten candy could spray outward causing some pretty bad burns.

Hints why all to most of their streets/highways are a concrete color as apposed to black asphalt yeh yeh??  Could you imagine what that heatbox would be like if set-up otherwise? Yike.

i used to watch that show until they started letting the dumbass interns do most of the work. those retards always find a way to build something wrong. Most of their designs seem to fail imo. The asian guy is kinda clever(and annoying) but still hes too passive to direct things or somethin.
