Everyone messes up sometimes, it's just some people have bigger things to screw up than others.
If that cannonball hit a baby in the face I could see them facing charges but as long as they fix everything and pay the fines who cares.

I'm not sure how many people know about MythBusters but I assume most people do so I'd think that incident might add value to their home. Hopefully they'll ask if they can keep it and have it welded to a pedestal in their backyard. That house is "famous" now, some people love that shit.

I found shit wrong with there methods almost every episode. which is why I stopped watching it. the last one I watched was if a bird could land on the hood of a car and send it teetering over the edge. they threw 85lbs of dead hens on it and declared it busted. If it was balanced right a pebble could do the job. Stupid fucks.

Yeah, ya know, this is a few weeks old.
But incase you guys didnt actually read any of these articles. THe two main guys were NOT at the test range when this cannonball was fired. Some of the 'helpers" were out there calibrating the cannon they were using and the cannonball was grossely overpowered, and flew into an adjacent neighborhood (which was, if i recall correctly, well over a mile off the range)

How could a car get to that perfectly balanced spot with out the car just tipping over as it slid to its resting place to begin with. Seems there would be some kind of forward momentum from the shocks or the people inside that would tip it over, if it where to be a case of a pebble.
Maybe if there wasn't any suspension and the tires where just welded in place.
