pacific pile of garbage the size of texas

im trying to find a view from above on google to see just how big this pile really is and what it looks llike, but i cant find anything just close up shots that may or may not be the actuall pile, post any aerial or satelite photos that you got. thanks:earth:

The pile travels, and floats across the pacific.  It's got a generalized area it stays in.  It's gross, I heard they're finally going to start attempting research for cleanup.  They should just get ontop of the cleanup...  Their reasons for delaying things is to "find it it's significantly economical or not" to clean up the mess.  Who the fuck gives a shit if it's significantly economical?  That's a lot of trash free-floating that WE have dumped out there.

Yeah, and a lot of the pieces tend to get eaten by bottom feeders and animals that make up the bottom of the oceanic food-chain.  It all gets ingested by something larger.

It's not really a contiguous mass that you could see from a satellite like an island. It's more of a loose collection of degrading particulate matter of various sizes from bits of nylon-neting, buoys, and pop bottles, down to very tiny bits of styrofoam soaking up organic toxins from the environment and entering the food chain...

It is a real problem... imho...

Um...me, because we're in the middle of a recession. And how would this get paid for? Its coming out of all our pockets. I get that we made the mess and we should clean it up, but I'm thinking this might be something we can do AFTER this economy gets a little better.

all of us off as well as our children and our grand children, Death is
the leading killer in america among all age groups,  if you act now you
