aargh! long johns... so.. itchy

i've taken to wearing long johns everyday, as i'm working out in the cold these days.  it's been maybe 3 weeks or so since i've started wearing them, and the itchiness feels like it's getting worse.  its the kind of itchiness that comes from having your leg hair pressed in the wrong direction.  i try to smooth it all down, but am failing.

i fucking love the long johns.  they're so practical, keep me nice and warm, and are sexy to boot.  but this goddamn itchiness is something else.  any long john wearers have any advice?  will this itchiness ever go away?  shaving my legs isn't exactly an option.

From what material are your long johns made?  Perhaps if you find a new pair that are made of a different material your itchiness will subside.  Also you could try sprinkling some baby powder or gold bond inside before you wear it, that may help reduce some friction/itchiness.


Or you can even try wearing a thin t-shirt and thin pajama pants under your long johns...

I'm wearing long johns too! My house gets to like 50 degrees at night :/

You could try to put some conditioner on your legs next time you are in the shower? Don't know if it would help or not but if it softens them then maybe it would help. IDK, just a thought.

i've got three different pairs.  one is made of that thermal type material.  one is thin smooth cotton type material.  and one is slightly thicker cotton type material.  i think they're all cotton though.  tags don't specify material

friction isn't really the problem.  there's no rash or chafing.  it's just that my leg hair is being pressed and held in funny directions, making it crazy itchy.  same thing happens if i wear high socks.  except this is all over my leg.

and high five long johns cosmonaut!  i'm totally gonna wear my long johns when i hang out with my female friend in france.  and she is going to be unable to resist the pure sex mojo that is long johns and she shall be wooed!

Lol my g/f always lawls at me when I wear just my long johns... I probably look like a freak because I'm so tall. They're just so comfortable and warm though :laugh:
