Its cool, but I feel the acoustic loses that "force" of the original. Still cool though, I'm a big fan of the Candy Rat scene.

I'm cool with both of them. Seen them both live a number of times. I do not however think Megadeth reaches the same height as Metallica. In fact I don't think Megadeth has anything in their catelogue that is as good as "Orion". This is my question though, who released a Greatest Hits album first? And who in Metallica sued Napster? Surely it was not the band and was indeed Lars, so why the sell out insult? I never understand this shit. What does their newer albums have to do with Master of Puppets? Master of Puppets is easily better than anything Dave has ever done. I love Dave to death, but he did not succeed in killing Metallica. Megadeth has never had a steady lineup and has just as many shitty albums.

Furthermore fuck anyone who has to bring up Megadeth when Metallica is mentioned. Both bands are similar, I don't see why someone wouldn't like them both.

Both bands have their place and their classics. Megadeth did write Rust in Peace and are far more badass though.

That acoustic rendition was pretty good but the original is still loads (lol Load) better, and it's a full song.

shit just says sell out, even though you dont like when Megadeth is

mentioned when Metallica comes up, they have kept their originality

unlike Metallica. But you want to listen to some real metal, death

metal, Metalcore is where its at man , talk about Technicality and

Double bass FTW lol

I listen to quite a bit of Metal my friend. I never would have liked it without Metallica though.

Im sure you do man, thats why im saying you probably appreciate the more advanced metal, i started off backwards i got into The Black Dahlia Murder, In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Dying Fetus and worked my way to iron maiden,Megadeth,Slayer, and just to add a great band to the list lol Mastodon is the shit, actually they recently sold out too... they used to be good

I'm pretty big into Tech death right now. I'm pretty sure there's going to be a bigger wave of it soon in the not too distant future. That and Post-Rock/Metal.

And Justice For all is a great album but I find that rust is more technical and interesting although it's a close race for sure. It's a real shame Kirk can't play anything worth shit now a days.

Slayer is fucking terrible. One of the worst bands ever IMO. I also think DT, BDM and Dying Fetus are pretty lame too though.

Tech. Death is cool, but it gets boring at times. Like take Quo Vadis, awesome band, but I cannot have that shit playing all day. I'm pretty cool with Metalcore, but then again I'm more of a huge Pantera fan and what descended from that (Lamb of God, All That Remains). I go into Metal through Nu-Metal though. Still a huge fan of Deftones and the 'Vayne.

No. Its like Quo Vadis. Lykathea Aflame, Dominion, Gorod etc

Lykathea Aflame is the best band in the genre but only has one album out and will never make another one. Fantastic fucking album though.

I have a Pantera Cd in my car man, i get drunk and yell along with

Walk lol, Lamb of god is great, the reason i love BDM so much is how

much adrenaline they can pump into me at their show, i get in that

pit and its awesome, one of my favorite things about metal is double

bass so thats a big part of why i like the bands i do

The drumming would make my head explode. I really love a few songs of theirs though although i have never listened to an album from start to finish. Necrophagist is one of the only tech bands that I could listen to all day. It's what I would call easy listening tech death.

Man fuck "Walk". Its cool, but get into the band as a whole. Down is awesome too. I like music that sounds good when I'm high. Tech. Death is not cool music to get stoned too IMO. I listen to it a lot, but I can never have it as "my favorite genre".

Hell I have a DOWN tattoo on my leg.
