Your the girl on the bus that holds a bunch of cash in her hand and some homeless person will ask you for a dollar, and you say no because your broke, but really its just because your greedy or assume that they are just going to waste it. The truth behind it is its not always the fault of the person you just assume it is, because all you care about is yourself. I think that is worse then having any disease, and in a way your in the same boat with the "junkies" and "low lifes" for not helping them.

i think it's easy for someone viewing this situation from a distance to simply say stay far away from someone with HIV, it does make sense

but actually knowing the person and falling in love with them would change things i forsee. add an aspect of irrationality to the situation.

i think in the end you need to do what you are comfortable with. you know this person better than all of us, all we can give you are two opposing opinions.

And if you don't hate anyone......you are not anywhere near enlightened.  Hate is a VERY common thing in life, and it helps balance out, and equalize everything.  You are not enlightened because you see through peoples ignorance.  That is only the beginning.  You may be on the road to enlightenment......but foolish comments of arrogance, and prentiousness, only prove to everyone you are not worthy of your title of enlightenment.

The sad part about this site is all the fidgity, whiney, neo hipster, shut ins, who can't face REALITY, and think their new found beliefs are superior to everything else.


Learn to function with everyone, and not be an ignorant, arrogant, asshole, and you may begin to achieve enlightenment.

What about a homeless family? What if some kid walked up to you and asked you for a dollar because their parents kicked them out? Not every homeless person or family is a bumb, some of them are homeless because of the recession, some are homeless because no body helps them.. Someday you might be a homeless urban refugee and you'll ask for a dollar or a meal and get rejected, because your a greedy ass mother fucker and what comes around goes around.. You capitalistic piece of shit.

Actually if you knew anything about what was happening in the world, homelessness is on the increase because of lost jobs and that includes families, not just single people, but parents with kids who can't find a job, while the supporting side of emergency shelters are getting cut and shut down. So while the demand goes up, the help decreases. At the same time its not even a donation. I do agree that in some cases like foreign aid the best solution is to stop giving it, because it doesn't really go to them. The only way to actually help the homeless in my opinion is not to donate money, but to actually volunteer and help them personally. But that doesn't mean you should still be a greedy douche, when someone who eats out of the trash cans asks you for a dollar, just a fucking dollar or some spare change, something that you will probably spend on yourself that you don't really need but instead you hog it because you are greedy. In my opinion you greedy douche bags are the reason why society is so fucked up, because your all stuck caring about yourselves then caring about each other. I understand you have to support yourself before you support others, however supporting yourself is not as much as you would think it is. We all make together the world that each of us must live in and be made by.

If you don't plan ahead, then fall flat on your ass, it's no one's fault but your own.  And if you take your family down with you, it should be your responsibility to fix it, not some stranger on the bus.

panhandlers are shifty.  since there has been money there has been beggars.  and the only reason they still exist is because people like you give them their change.  If you do not allow them to leech of you they will stop doing it.

You can obviously tell a panhandler from someone who is homeless. But you see if someone asks for a dollar you automatically assume they are a panhandler and not someone who really needs it. I agree there are people who do make bread off of other people that are not really homeless but its easy to spot the phonies. Im not going to argue, but if your worried about a dollar or some change you are fucking greedy, if you think every HIV+ male or female is a junkie or a lowlife then your heartless and discriminate. Put the two together you are a heartless greedy bastard. Have a good life you heartless greedy bastards, and just remember people are rotting in the streets and your against helping them.

Yes please describe to me, the difference between a panhandler, and a homeless person.


They both got to that position by their shitty actions, and no spare change or a buck is going to get them out of that problem.  I help myself, and I help those who have helped me.  I am no where near heartless.  And I am also no where near ignorant.  Some fool may have a great " I lost my job and my family is broke " story......


He shouldve saved cash

He shouldve worn protection if he can't afford kids.

He shouldve worked harder at his job.

He should go find another job.
