is easily one of my favorite artists. He has such a unique swagger in his genre. Shotgun Willie is my favorite album at the moment, though I dig his less stereotypical response albums also. Enjoy a song from that album, a very simple guitar arrangement that took me a while to get into. I consider it a masterpiece of the genre now however

I don't listen to his music much but I was really impressed when I saw him preform this summer.
His voice sounds so fucking GOOD. It was pretty incredible really. He's fucking old, and smokes a ton. Sounds like he's young as can be though. Great way to wind down a 4 day music fest (he wasn't the headliner on Sunday but one of the last acts.)

Ah cool, Ive never personally seen him live. I'm sure that was a great concert though honestly I haven't heard any of his music past the 70's for some reason. Theres no question the man has a great voice however, also he's Hank Hill's idol
