How Are You Supposed To Know?

If its LSD or an RC?

I've taken "acid" something like 8-10 times...Each time it seems a little different...

For instance...I've noticed on higher doses of acid (I've only had two high dose trips 4+ hits) that the whole world seems to be covered in smiling faces, pure bizarre hallucinations...Other times just breathing and colors...


How am I supposed to know if I've ever gotten an RC or if I ever do?

Buy from a legitimate source, make your own, or field test it.

From the latter, the easiest way is with a UV light, if it shines blue, its LSD.

I'd go for make your own. If we had more people trying to make it, we'd have much more acid since someone would have found a better way by now.

DOx = "
    * light doses of DOB last from 6-12 hours
    * medium doses of DOB last from 8-16 hours
    * heavy doses of DOB can last more than 24 hours"

With a 1+ hour comeup.

2c-X=
    ~6 hour trip with ~1 hour come up.

LSD- 45 min - 1 hour come up ~12 hour trip. You need a lot more of RC's to get you tripping also, so most small blotter will be LSD.

It depends on the dosage. Smaller doses(1-2 hits) tend to take longer to kick in, with the longest time being about 2 hours until it's FELT(about 3 hours until peak). With higher doses it tends to hit you much quicker and can come on as fast as 30 to 45 minutes in.

for me I don't usually get my first alerts til about an 1 1/2 after ingestion. I guess everyones different.

comeup is not a way to determine shit

  It took me 5 hours for it to hit once. And then I was good to go for the night.

Have you ever tripped on psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline, or DMT? If so, LSD has strikingly similar effects. RCs are not really comparable to these psychedelics in terms of effects. I've also noticed slight variations in my LSD trips although I'm not sure exactly what causes this.

  It is very very similar to LSD. Except the duration and you get headaches, the shits and vomiting.  And it lasts 16 hours.
  But other than that it is just like LSD

No I have not tried 5-MeO-AMT yet but now I want to. :smile: I knew it was a psychedelic but that's about all I knew about it.

duration is no bullshit but onset can vary significantly
LSD just doesn't last 16 hours like 5meo-amt.
  And LSD has a 2 hour peak at most. The peak of 5meo-amt is about 10 hours.

Pretty sure he was just kidding with this since he shows all the differences, then says that it's just like LSD. 5-meo-amt sucks big donky dick and is nothing like LSD, I think cpw1971 feels the same. Not so sure now, he's talking like they are the same, except for duration. Not at all the same, LSD is fuckin' great, I've never heard anyone say that about 5-meo-amt.

LSD does not have a 2hr peak at most, it can have a 5-6 hour peak if you take enough.

And while comeup from a single time cannot determine LSD it is still a very good sign, and over time you can figure out the average comeup for your doses. If you come up in 45 min or less though then there's a very good chance it's LSD.

I also heard 5-meo-amt is rather different, and somewhat unpleasant to many, compared to LSD. I really have no idea though, just banter I've heard on the forum.

  I am just talking the trippy feeling...  the stomache crampyness, The feeling of having to pee, the visuals, and the jaw clenching. Other than that 5meo-AMT sucks ass.
  But when I took it I remembered why I don't like LSD... stomache cramps, bladder wierdness and jaw clenching.  yuck. The 5meo-amt felt just like it as far as those effects go.
  However the first 4 or so hours of 5meo-amt is a blast.
