Georgia Chanterelles *ID*

I am looking for confirmation of ID. I believe these to be Smooth Chanterelles. There is little to no false gills. Found around the Atlanta, Georgia area. Growing around Oak trees, near and around foot trails. Tried to do spore print with no luck. Also wondering if anyone else has had luck in the ga area with chanterelles, and if they have also found other edibles.

They also have an overwhelming Fruity smell. Are smooth chanterelles most common in Ga or are there other species found??
