We have't had any real bad storms this year, No Katrina's at least, so your thread title is bull shit. It's been a weak season

but early this summer I made a prediction, based on a really bizarre experience, that there would either be a REALLY bad one, or practically nothing at all.


I think I may have taken part in preventing hurricanes :tinfoil: :crazy2:
or causing a really bad one (not yet, and hopefully not)

It's crazy how shit can change from year to year.

2005 was by far the most active tropical season


But this year is pretty minimal.  I imagine it's the weak El-Nino in the Pacific.  There is a strong correlation between El-Nino and weak tropical activity in the Atlantic.

there's no way there's that much green on a satellite image.  Where are all the cities and shitz?  That looks more like a satellite pic cira 1492 than 2009.
