Alarm clock that will play an MP3

I'm tired of waking up to BEEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP it always puts me in a bad mood in the morning. Anyone have an alarm clock that you can put a song or two on?

i know what you mean dude. that normal alarm sound makes me jump like a foot in the air when it goes off.

do you have a cell phone? i use the alarm on mine most of the time and you can set it to any ringtone/mp3 on it.

My phones too ancient to have anything like that. Someone has to make an alarm clock with like 10mb of storage that you can hook up to your computer and load a song on but I can't find one.

Google "iTunes alarm clock" or something like that.
I did it a couple years ago and it yielded a really simple but awesome program that allows me to use any song I choose as an alarm clock. You can set up a bunch of different ones to go off on certain days and shit. Has an "easy wake" feature that starts the song out soft and gradually increases the volume. Snooze setting where you set how long it snoozes for. It's sweet as fuck.

PS If you have a Mac here is what I use.

I recommend it to anyone who has a Mac really. Simple, intuitive, and free.

I can't believe I'm ranting and raving about a fucking alarm clock program.

Well you gotta get your lazy ass outta bed!!

Poke around Google, I'm sure you can find something. An alarm clock that uses an SD card or some shit.

Or hook up some speakers with REALLLLLLLLLLY long wires to your computer and run them to your room for the alarm :lol:

Download firefox if you don't already use it, then get the add-on FoxyTunes and there is an alarm clock function that you can set to start playing music in the morning.

There are mp3 players that feature alarm clocks.
Don't know if it plays the mp3s though.
Look into some of those new video mp3 players.
It's like a cell phone without the cell phone.
