I posted in the gamer section about chess, and no one seemed to show any interest at all.......

Games to people are either real time strategy ( even tho chess is the original RTS ), or first person shooters.

Anyone play chess? And if so.......we should throw down :smile:

I play at games.yahoo.com all the time shoot me a pm on here if you ever wanna play.

It'd just be nice to have someone to talk to amidst a game of chess other then a 15 year old whos whipping my ass in 12 moves :smile:

i liked playing chess when i was younger, but i haven't been able to set the time aside for it.

I don't like playing on a machine. It throws me off. I usually get smoked when playing on the machine.

oh, and chess was the original Fps.

Wouldn't chess be a TBS?

The turns involved are what distinguishes RTS' from TBS' ...?

chess is real time strategy eh? Where you move at the same time as the other player, and attempt to take him out while he attempts to get you?

It's a turn-based game dude...
