Feel like i'm rolling from dancing, when sober.....

Alright, so i've never been one to dance...

Never could get into music enough for it to move me, and i wasn't really sure how i should "move"...And a tad bit self conscious.


Over this summer i guess i have loosened up some, after going to a few raves and festivals i have really learned to not give a shit about the way i dance or what i look like or what people think. And have found music that actually makes me want to move, which would be Dubstep.


Now i like the music so much so that i don't get all spun and roll every time i go to see some dubstep or Drum n'Bass, i go for the music, smoke some weed and maybe have a beer or two.....


Something i have noticed several times is that i will actually feel as if i am rolling when i'm dancing to some of my favorite tunes and when everyone else is also going crazy and getting into it....


I'm curious if anyone else experiences this from dancing? I have always been a "sensitive" person, i pick up on very subtle things that most don't. Perhaps it's just the vibes i am collecting from everyone having a good time, or maybe someone is dosing me unknowingly haha. I know dance is a powerful and magical thing but damn.....




I'm actually going to skank to some Dubstep tonight  :awedance:

I went to an RX Bandits show and felt extreme levels of euphoria while dancing to their music.

It was awesome! And I was sober :]

Its called endorphins.  When your body experiences lots of excitement, and bliss, it releases them, and you feel great, even high!  Your body releases them when you get hurt, thats why some people cut themselves, they say it makes them feel "alive".  A lot of pain releases a lot of endorphins, and puts you into "shock".  Endorphins are also released during an orgasm (imagine that), during a hard workout, and when you get really excited (probably what your doing).

  So, enjoy them!  Life is about having fun, so if you can feel like your rolling while dancing, do it!  It will save you a lot of money, and some brain tissue.  :grin::thumbup:

I would say that its just chi, it always picks up during physical activity, all you have to do is relax and then blamo your riding the wave of your own spirit. And dancing is perfect for it too, flowing with the rythm and all.

Actually if im listening to a good song and getting into it, then start dancing a bit I get little flashes running through my body when you hit a good groove, makes listening to music at work a lot more fun :laugh:

Oh and doing kundalini meditation, or raising your chi honestly cant be topped, Thats why a lot of people would argue that drugs just fuck you up enough that you fall back into that natural unrestricted state where there are no walls to knock down, and your chi flows naturally. Now I have'nt done opiates, but most other shit ive tried and they all impart a big part of the state of mind you get when you do these drugs, coke gives you the power you get when you get your kundalini flowing, Extacy gives you the presence of mind to really experience the wonder of what your senses are capable of feeling, and gets that crackling electricity in your skin.

Anyways thats my 2c, take it or leave it. :laugh:

2 quick "sayings" that i've learned to live by:

if you take care of the pennies, the dollars will take care of themselves.
