Fuck this government, fuck this economy, fuck obama. :thumbdown:

yea i'll explain it to you... our so called president, who, Im sorry was only elected because he is black (most people in Harlem to ever vote since god knows when)  needs to stop worry about other countries and focus on the US. He is procrastinating, not making anything better by wasting his fucking time with this other countries. I have nothing against Mexico, but handle your own shit, and we should hand ours, but then again who wants to listen to the truth.

This fag fuck ass jack of a president will only focus on the bullshit to get out of fixing this economy, like that black person who was arrested and obama was all over it. All this nonsense about a new socialist health care reform. Thats it in a nut shell, that is what i fimly believe, and i think this loser in office needs to get the fuck out while he still can, it will make the country a better place.

The Mexico problem is our problem just as much as it is theirs. We are the customers of their cartels. They exist because we like drugs.

Of course Mexico and the US would be better served by replacing the cartels with legit businesses, but hey I'm no lawmaker.

you are a prime example of how the level of political discourse in this country has devolved to a small step
above farting in your opponents general direction.

the nonsense and personal attacks you spewed above belies any belief that you have educated yourself about politics in any manner.

just because you love obama doesn't mean i have to. I have every right to express my views on this situation and just because they don't fit your liberal beliefs doesn't mean I am wrong, stupid, or putting my beliefs on anyone. I am simply stating how I feel, not if I am right or wrong. Before your little fingers start typing you should really think about what you are going to say. Cause stating that I am making personal attacks and farting in my opponents general direction when other people may feel the same way as me makes you sound like a 5 year old jackass who snuck on to his daddy;s shroomery account.

People have no basis for calling Obama a socialist. As soon as I see someone throw this around I know their opinion is based on nothing besides party loyalty. Asking you to prove he is a socialist or asking you what socialism is, is a waste of time. My bet is on you being a Glenn Beck viewer

The USA empire and war machine along with corporate welfare, which is at least double the cost of the social welfare, might be where you want to take an aim at before simply slinging around the word  socialism. I also want to say that the America empire and offense spending does not qualify as socialist spending because the military is doing the bidding of corporations and the ultra rich, not the average person with a conscious who understands the nature of capitalism.

Thats to say nothing of the illusion of democracy the media sells and we live with in the USA. I mean lets face it the American constitution was radical and a step forward in 1787 but lets face it; it never helped the America state evolve beyond a corporate plutocracy. Its a damn retrograde constitution by todays standards and should be re-written to offer more rights greater democracy and social justice.

Dondoodle, your post reminds me of one of my favorite Jefferson quotes:

"I am not an advocate for frequent changes in laws and constitutions. But laws and institutions must go hand in hand with the progress of the human mind. As that becomes more developed, more enlightened, as new discoveries are made, new truths discovered and manners and opinions change, with the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also to keep pace with the times. We might as well require a man to wear still the coat which fitted him when a boy as civilized society to remain ever under the regimen of their barbarous ancestors."

What the hell are you talking about? He's NOT interfering with Mexico, that's the whole point of this article you dumb shit.
Unlike Bush, Obama is letting a neighboring sovereign nation make decisions for itself. And somehow you've twisted this into believing he's "wasting time with this other countries". Last I checked, he IS trying to focus on this country (economy, health care, etc). Now if you disagree with that, then by all means, bitch about that... but your original post just makes you look like one of those closed-minded creationist fucks, with no rational idea of what your screaming about.

Actually I hate the republican party just as much as the democratic party. Both support massive government and both love to waste money like there's no tomorrow.

but of course you think of me as a republican, because you've been locked into the party vs party mindset by the media and the government's way of operating.

And Obama is a socialist. Look at his economic policies. He is determined to have the government take control over (or at least way more heavily regulate) things that had been previously left to the private sector, especially in the banking, automotive, and healthcare industries. I don't like Glenn Beck, nor any tv newscaster or radio pundit. and I do fully understand socialism despite what your elitist neoliberal perceptions may have you believe.

Third, I don't like the war in the middle east either, if that's why you're making the reference to the military-industrial complex not being a facet of socialism. the war on terror is a massive waste of taxpayer dollars and isn't actually doing anything to further our safety.

Fourth, there's nothing wrong with the Constitution. it outlines basic rights and limits the government. unfortunately every single limit that has been put on government has been loopholed or voted out by congress (go figure). We don't need some nanny-state government blueprint for our constitution. i agree that they did not imagine that the future massive corporations would control our nation today just as much as our tyrannical government does. however it's not the government's job to control industry, as it's not industry's business to control government, one leads to stalinist communism and the other facism.

Looks like someones upset cause I don't have the same political views as they do. I may be harsh in my choosing of words to describe obama and this government, but I do have valid reasons. I'm not ehre to write an article about them, I just choose to voice my opinion in as short a way as possible. I'm sorry if I don't have the same views as you, but that does not make me a shit or any other insult you throw at me. It just makes you look like a childish internet tough guy wanna be.

Feel free to voice your opinion, but don't criticize me cause I don't have the same one.

Exactly. What socialist would appoint as member of the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board a President of a banking organization (UBS) which assists the wealthiest of the wealthy in dodging taxes? he played golf w/ this guy last week for crying out loud.

This is a country of 300 million people. When people say simply "massive government" or "big government" that tends to make me think you have some naive vision of the world running with some bare bones nearly non-existant government. Unfortunately for you we have heard that rhetoric from Reagan and the Bush's and it is proven to be pure rhetoric. You need to find a way to distinguish yourself from republicans because you are simply repeating their rhetoric and mantras so you can hardly blame me for calling you a republican. How about calling it bureaucracy and actually talking about what you think is a waste instead of the lazy and absolutely republican rhetoric of "big government"

It sounds like you may agree with me when I say largest most wasteful and disgusting expenditures this country has are the military empire and the drug war/police state.

Oh wow where to start with this. When the government gives money to the banks at 0 and damn near 0 interest, props up the automotive sector but has no democratic voting rights or only temporary minute measures like firing the CEO, and no say in how that industry will be run, and is working to make sure health insurance and drug companies are insured of continuing and even greater profits and monopolies, you somehow think Obama and the democrats are socialist? Thats absurd.

Neoliberal? That word has been historically used to refer to economic policies. I'm for socialism  and absolutely against neoliberal economics. You have to admit you are seeking to redefine the word here or you should admit you are wrongly using this definition.

Well you have a major apparent contradiction here. You say the constitution is fine but you think the country is all messed up and your sentiments clearly stated that. Then if the constitution is fine why is the government so messed up according to you? Your simple explanation of loopholes is hardly an explanation for all the things you are trying to say are wrong with the country. Then you say congress is to blame. You just admitted yourself there are problems with congress so I think we can safely say the constitution isn't working. I'll take more democracy and a rewriting of the constitution for 1000 Alex.

Good quote. The grammar at the end is quite hard to understand and it took me a whole lot of times re-reading it to fully understand it.

I wonder if Jefferson would agree 220 years is long enough to wait to write a new constitution? I also wonder if Jefferson was one of the people not meant to make it into those meetings and kind of pushed his way in through the side door.

Wow, this is the first time any US president has done anything good for as long as I can remember.

Mexico tried this reform a few times when bush was in office and he threatened to cut off trade in order to stop drug reform.

Now with the cover of swine flu, Mexico found a good time to do this while most people are distracted with other things.

I am in Mexico now, and no one that I have talked to had any idea that this even happened.

This kind of confirms what I thought, there was a media blackout on this story. I searched a lot of online mexican newspapers and was unable to find the story. The government must have some control over the media in mexico.
