ticket for running a red light???

so my girlfriend just got a ticket for running a red light in ohio and this is her first offense. does anyone know about howmuch the fine will be??? any personal expieriences?? and the cop said she can waver it, whats that mean.

I know in my area you can pay off points basically, and your insurance never sees it and bla bla bla, and that running a red is only 2 points here.  (how fucked up is that).  Basically, I've paid as much as 650$ to get rid of 2 BULLSHIT points and as little as 400.  Expect to pay some $.

That, and have her stop running fucking red lights they're there for a reason :crankey:

I can't tell you on the dot but, I would say couple hundred dollars. Where I live there are camera's at 3 of the biggest intersections, If you run a yellow or red light it takes a pic of you tag.

An sends you a ticket threw mail! I think they are fixing to get rid of em though the county is loosing money with them.

I'm not sure what he means by 'waiver' it per se, perhaps what bbl said, but I know here in virginia often on first time traffic offenses they give you the option of going to driving school and then the whole things dropped. I know that is the case for speeding tickets anyways, I'm not sure about running reds.

@Polk: You can get a ticket for running a yellow light there?
