I have also heard that dietary restrictions are unnecessary with ayahuasca, more of a traditional ritual than a legitimate precaution. I'm probably going to take them anyway just to be safe, I don't like headaches. :shocked:

I'm 99.99% certain that Jurema is active by itself, I've simply heard it confirmed by too many reports, including published ones. I will definitely be sure to get back to you guys with a trip report once I've taken the plunge, however. :grin:

I'm pretty psyched, I've never tried ayahuasca or anything like it before. I plan to do it in the forest with a small group of very good friends, one of whom will be going sober, just to be safe (considering I have NO idea what the dosage is like here).

I've had MUCH worse than headaches when combining the wrong stuff with rue, and so have others. I don't know about how long before or after, but I can promise you, DURING the effects of rue, combining the wrong things can be verrrrrrrrry nasty. Please exercise caution.

not really a "ritual". It has more to do with legitimate awareness and well-being than anything, and has to do with how the experience itself will go.

I use a pretty strong Harmaline tincture, that I assume is a Syrian Rue extract, on a fairly regular basis, to potentiate Pharmahuasca and as an ad mix to Shrooms. I normally fast for about 6-8 hours prior and never afterwards. I have never had any issues with it at all. I have done this several dozens of times. No ill effects ever.

Are you talking about the 5x harmaline tincture from ias? If so how is it?

I ordered a bottle a while ago to try it out and it wasn't included in my package. I sent them an email letting them know they fucked up and they never responded to the email but a week later I got a random package from them with 12 grams of kratom 15x. :wtf: I thought that was weird and I never contacted or ordered from them again.

Yep thats the stuff. Yes it works perfect to potentiate Oral dosages of DMT and Psilocybin/Psilocin containing mushrooms.

I ordered the IAS tincture and the first time I tried it, with mhrb extract it was only a one hour long trip.  A few months later I tried it again and doubled the dose of tincture and added more DMT and nothing happened.  I suspect that the tincture was weak to begin with and it lost potency as time went on.

what it does like science? it's an maoi inhibitor, maoi-a to be specific. they are short acting, compared to pharms

or what it does to the trip? changes it qualitatively(sp?) & quantitatively(sp?) depending on your dose of harmine, it can double the trip in intensity & length, dmt / psilocybin / lsd / mesc
& i really enjoy how maois kindof "force" telepathy :vaped:
there isn't really a way to describe the way it changes the trip, way more spiritual, slow, not-as-overwhelming, ime

i'll write a great tek on how to extract harmine/harmaline with rocksalt & vinegar, you can get huge yeilds from peganum seeds, like 12%+ alkaloids

I use the IAS 5x tincture regularly. I purchased 10 bottles about 20 months ago. That stuff still works great for me. No, not quite. The come up is slower. Its not a Blast off. I find it much more enjoyable. The visuals are outstanding. Its much easier to tolerate  because of the onset that builds. Its IMO like a cross between shrooms and LSD, but better visuals and shorter acting. You gotta be careful getting accustomed to it with regards to dosing. If you do too much the peak can be like smoked DMT an last a while. It wont just, be over in 5 minutes. This can be extremely uncomfortable. Careful.

I have found in my experiences that mimosa can be touchy with dosing. 8 grams is just right and 10 is way too many. You gotta start reasonable and work your way up. The reason for that is all the variables. The prep of the MHRB and the MAOI.  Consistency in prep and dosing is key. Keep a journal so you have written recall of what you did so you can correct it next time. There will be some trial and error involved. Once you get it down you may favor oral DMT.

I think oral DMT is way more enjoyable than smoked...

Smoked DMT just leaves me with a "Wait WTF just happend?" kind of feeling, whereas orally its like" oh wow that was cool"

I just grind then encapsulate 3grams of rue seeds in 000 gel caps.

I just took the mimosa like an hour after the syrian rue seeds..

I got this really potent bark and only needed about 3.5 grams of it to get to a nice comfortable, visual trip..

I think I could have taken about another 1.75 grams of mimosa comfortably though...


Oral DMT is somehting totally different than smoked..


When we ate it, all we did was lay in bed in a dark room..

I tried standing a couple times, and once I got up, I was just like whoa, now what? Then layed back down:D

Ill never forget that experience.....

that's baller dude, how many times did you purge? it's been years since i've tried regular aya, trying to find a reasonable way to dose the extracted actives,
soon i would like to try vaping harmine (peganum active) & then subligual DMT fumarate
but mimosa bark has more in it than just dmt, so i'll probly add panaeolus to the journey :vaped:

do you do cold or hot water extraction? i'd love to try aya again, i've got what i need, do you have a good tek?
if you would be doing aya with a friend or 2 should one be the sitter? it's been so long
