My wirelss internet says it's unsecured...how do i secure it?

i took my laptop to a buddies house and used his wireless... but now when i set it back up at my house it says its unsecured...i used to have it secured, so what happened and how do i fix it?

log into your wireless router and enabled wireless security...wep or wpa etc.

You just have to set up the firewall with a pw

You just login to the router with your browser (for most Linksys routers the address is: 192.168.1.1)
Then you have to put in the username and pw, default is usually "Admin" or "Default" or something depending on the router
Then just setup your firewall

For Linksys routers, the user/pass is usually

admin/root
root/admin
root/[blank]
admin/[blank]
