Firefox....

Ythan,

Firefox is acting up with the Shroomery on my computer.
I'll log in and go to another page and it literly kicks me off/unlogs me.
Every time I log back in, the same thing happens.
Basically making it impossible for me to be here logged in.

I had to us IE to post this...
and I hate using Internet Exployer!~

Please help.

I deleted my cookies and all that good shit...btw

Did you restart your computer? Close all the tabs and don't save them when you close firefox, then right click on the firefox icon select properties and delete all cookies internet history etc...Then restart.

It has fixed it for me and others before.

Did you delete your cookies manually through your browser, like what worked for this guy? Does it happen regardless of whether you check "remember me"?

I deleted all my cookies and everything else through the Start/Explore window...manually.

I never have the "remember me" checked...
cause I don't want anyone to be able to log onto the Shroomery as me when I'm not here...
being a Moderator and all, and not wanting to be inpersonated.

I didn't turn my computer off and reboot it...
after clearing my cookies, temp files and temp internet files...
I'll try that now.

ok...

here is what did work...

I opened firefox back up...

Clicked on Tools at the top...

Clicked on Options....

Clicked on Privacy....

Clicked on Show Cookies in the Cookie option in the middle...

some more fucking cookies appeared that weren't cleared manually.

so I deleted those.

and now I'm ok again.

Glad his suggestion worked and its good to know. I've tried to look up why firefox does this but I haven't been able to figure it out...I haven't really read much in to it but I'll try to over the next couple of days and see if I can figure out how to prevent it from doing it again.
