Morning walk- Picts work now

Some mushroom shots from the woods near my house.
Not sure what kind. I need to study boletes there are a ton of them growing this year.
Are there many toxic ones?

There seem to be plenty of toxic ones, although none deadly as far as I know. Features to note when identifying boletes include the surface texture of the stem, the color, size and shape of the pores, the color they bruise ,if any, and the color the flesh stains, if at all. I've gotten into the habit of cutting one in half to note the staining. It's only amusing for about half a second, but it does help identify some of them.

To be fair, the majority of all boletes range from "fairly good" to "excellent" edibles. None of the "poisonous" (or non-edible) ones are known to be deadly poisonous. They range from ruining a whole dish (Tylopilus) to giving you severe shits and stomach problems (Boletus satanas), but they won't kill you.
