Whisky question

Bourban and Scotch taste very, very different.  Why are they both called Whisky?  This has always baffled me.

Scotch Whiskey is good, especially 21 year old Scotch Whiskey.

Some fun facts about Whiskey.... The Irish called it Ishkabaha, which is Gaelic for the 'Water of Life'.
When Ishkabaha came to England, the English had trouble saying the word and pronounced is Whishkabaha, which over time and lackadaisical pronunciation, came to be known as Whisky.

Whiskey is wat u get when u take white dog (whiskey comes out of the still clear) and barrel it in a charred barrel. The white dog takes the color off the barrel and some flavor depending on the wood used and how the wood is burnt. Scotch is from scotland bourbon is from bourbon county kentucky also flavor depends on wat is used like wheat, rye, or corn.
