Why wake and bake??

Just curious, what makes one just awaken and go right for the weed? Do you not like life that much? Im for real wondering how you just wake up to alter your mind frame without even giving it a chance.

I'm not sure if wake and bake implies that you roll right over and fire one up. I get up, take a shit and then fire up the bong for one or two rips before I head off to class (university). I don't drink coffee and the giddiness I feel after the bong instills me with a certain ferver that enables me to sit there and pay attention for hours (4). I like adventure, and every morning when I leave stoned it's like another adventure. I don't avoid life, I face it head on with a glint in my eye and a giggle in my stomach. I guess if you are a die hard smoker and you still don't empathize then you may not ever enjoy the coveted Wake and bake.

my first thought is if you were my nieghbor and saw my smoking down rite now (for real) you would think i just wokee up and started smoking, but the sad truth is im 10 hours into an acid trip of undetermined stregnth and hate the idea that i might actually have to go to bed stoned, then wake up sober and clear headed , give up on that feeling and then get myself high again. What was the point of this? im confused now :mushroom2::crazy2::psychsplit:

Well your question seems a little.... I dunno... like somethings missing from it. It's too arbitrary of a question. It's the same as 'why do people eat oatmeal for breakfast?' Cause they like oatmeal...

Why do you wake and bake, cause I like pot. I like being high. :shrug:

The way you phrased it though makes me think maybe you were actually wondering 'why do you stay high all day?' in which case I can see the appeal, but I rarely do so I can't comment on that (though I am high at least half the day on and off throughout the day if I've got no obligations usually).

If your question is the later though, my guess would be addiction. That's the #1 reason I smoke as much as I do w/o a doubt. Now that's not a bad thing, the #1 reason I'm addicted is cause I like pot, and the #2 is it's hard to break since it's hardly got any downsides for me.

I prefer night time highs now.

Sunny day ones are great while chilling at the home though.

I don't wake and bake myself I usually have a green tea and some breakfast.

Yeah, it's like coffee.  I get an immediate sense of 'awake' to start my day, rather than stumbling around and moaning that I'd rather be sleeping.
