TVersity + hulu = no cable bill

Anyone else do this? stream hulu to your XBox 360 or PS3?

I'm not home enough to justify a monthly bill for cable... and even if I did have it everything would be on DVR... so it's not like i'm missing live TV.

it can freeze up now and then, but other than that it's decent quality.

I'm on an intervention marathon now...

Unless there is some kind of wireless component out there, I would think you would want to run a few Cat 6 cables and a coax cable from an outlet by your computer to an outlet behind your TV.

Just cut two 1-gang holes where you need them, put old-work cut-in boxes in them, and run the cables exposed through your walls and attic or crawl space.

You can get them thousands of feet long.

20 ft wouldn't be long enough, unless your computer was right next to your TV.

Estimate 10 feet up, 10 feet down, distance between, and add another 10 ft for good measure.

I guess you would need to add some audio/video cables into your cable run.

They are the triplex cables that have red, yellow, and white male connectors on each end.

you don't need tversity to use hulu on a ps3, oh and tversity is a BITCH to get setup right in my experience.  the only way i ever got it to work is when i used my computer as a router, when i used a real router it basicly said a big FUCK YOU.  altho the webpage streaming feature worked but it was buggy beta shit at the time

I remember when the internet first came out and it was only through the phone line. I think the reason the cable companies acted so aggressively to become ISP's is that they knew the internet would put them out of business otherwise.
