The internet is an amazing tool for sure. But at the same time, people can still pick and choose, and ignore certain information. There's  a LOT of bullshit on the net that people just eat up. It's a double edged sword imo.

But I believe in the old saying 'Truth Will Out'. Eventually.

Then again, with the powers that be in this world, internet censorship is still a possibility. If that were to happen.. game over.

Also I think it is great that Iranian people are able to bypass their government's lockdown on the media via information flow through the internet.

Hopefully our government continues not to privatize or censor our internet.

I don't think she is actually consciously looking into the camera.  I think her eyes have just rolled in that direction.

It is also that people simply can't stomach that. They have not had enough impacting their lives to be able to truly acknowledge how that would feel, if that was their daughter, sister, mother, girlfriend.

People just cant stomach that, the toughest thing for them to stomach has been maybe social rejection, a ailing grandparent and/or parent.

Communicating this type of thing is obviously riddled with difficulties that I have not yet understood and at this point in my life, will not attempt to understand. Shit gave me goosebumps, I remember when I thought my brother had died and was dying on the phone. It was much like this, interesting at best, one of the worst things that could ever happen to someone.

Another thing, and indeed the hardest, is acknowledging the real reasons why the shooter did this. The hatred is something else that makes it hard to communicate these things....we're just not ready for it, I guesse some just are.
