Anyone tried electronic cigarettes?

I've seen the ad for this product a few times.  http://www.blucigs.com/
Anyone tried them?  I would love to quit smoking, period, but eliminating the tar and smoke would be a good start.  Do they satisfy?  Are they full of nicotine goodness?

I don't smoke cigs but I'll suck on one of those all day and I get a normal nicotine buzz like I'm smoking a cigarette. You can get them flavored, and they are way cheaper per pack/cartridge.

My girlfriend buys them in bulk and sells them for cheaper than you can get online.

Nothing fun about being addicted to something that you hate.  Nothing fun about self loathing.  Just trying to find a tolerable route to a tobacco free existence.

I smoke a e-cigarette, they are absolutely amazing. I would endorse them as everything about them feels like a cigarette (only difference is it's a little heavier and metal) only I'm not fucking up my lungs. I love these things, they're amazing. They're like cigarette vaporizers. I would encourage every smoker to look into them. Believe or not, nicotine despite being very addictive isn't harmful to your health. It's the other 60 odd poisons in cigarettes that fuck you up. E-Cigarette only have I think three bad chemicals and in the long run is much cheaper. Plus I can smoke in restaurants and other non-smoking places now which is a bad ass thing. They have Voyager Seal of Approval. :thumbup:

i smoked 1 while i was on 2ct7 and it was really dope
theres a blue led lite that goes on when u hit it its neet
and u can walk around in buildings smoking and it wont set an alarm off
theres tons of flavors too

Anybody know if the company is publically owned that makes the ecigs?  This seems like something that might be profitable to buy stock in.

Thanks for the input.  I wanted to find out if they were legitimate before I plunked down the $60 for the starter pack.  The refill cartridges (as advertised) seem to be cheaper-per-dose than real cigs.  Do they really last as long as the ads claim?

I went to a shop in Boulder and checked them out. Dude offered to let me take a hit but I'm not keen on putting my mouth where others may or may not have been. Either way, it seemed legit and the guys there RAVED about it. I'm not a smoker, tobacco messes me up BAD, but I'm sold.

Yeah man I go through about a cartridge a day but it's just because I like my e-cig to be strong. A cartridge is equal to about a pack and a half maybe two packs of regular cigarettes.
