Oh really?  See thats what I was wondering.  Maybe they changed it back because of flak from the sellers.

Ill have to look at that and maybe start selling again, thx for the info.

Yeah the bullshit issue is since I wait about 4 days from payment and many people choose the cheapest/slowest shipping option(I offer more expensive/faster shipping options also, which they never choose)It takes sometimes two weeks(on the east coast)to get their item. Usually if it takes long the buyer may give you less than 5 stars. And hence the 5 star feedback system bullshit: dropping below 4.1 can have your selling account suspended either for 21 days or til you raise your ratings, which is impossible if you can't sell anything.
And you can get suspended for shipping "Quickly" and not "Very Quickly".
The five star rating system goes like this:

10 positive detailed feedback ratings within 90 days to
start you on the bullshit 5 star system.

1)How accurate was the item description?  1-5 stars

2)How satisfied were you with the seller's communication?  1-5 stars

3)How quickly did the seller ship the item?  1-5 stars

4)How reasonable were the shipping and handling charges?  1-5 stars

For instance, the shipping stars-
                                1 star equals: Very slowly

                                2 stars equals: Slowly

3 stars equals: Neither quick or slow

                                4 stars equals: Quickly

                                5 stars equals: Very Quickly

So say you get 10 detailed feedback rating and all the feedback you receive for shipping are 4 star feedback; your account may be suspended or your money may be held hostage for shipping quickly and not VERY QUICKLY! Fucking bullshit!:crankey:

Oh and another thing. Paypal can hold your money if you have a few Paypal related buyer disputes within a certain amount of time.FYI.

Yes, that is 100 percent a scam.

I can tell just by the way he talks. Tell him to fuck off.

Even if you cant figure out how exactly he could be scamming you, he has a way.

craigslist is notorious for those fuckers, and they always talk just like that and want you to ship something. A good way to be secure on there is to simply not offer shipping anywhere, local buyers only, that will come and pickup the item. Otherwise they are a scammer. Simple as that.

there's a reason I recommended the options I did, postal money
orders are secure, if he's a scammer he'll expose himself as such
when he refuses anything but a check or his own choice of money
order or what ever

70% of e-mails I get from my craigslist postings are scams. This is one of them. Watchout for the convoluted e-mails with broken English.
