Festival this weekend. To Trip or not to trip! (experienced festival ppl plz)

me and my friend were planning on going to this festival this weekend, with a lineup of mostly local bands, with poi fire throwers, camping, food, etc etc you kno the drill

we had both been saving 1/8s of mushrooms to eat during the second day during a really sweet lineup that features my favorite band since childhood.

But now that I have a shortage of cash I won't be able to attend this festival all weekend, maybe just one day...unless I sneak in or volunteer or something...I really should not be going just because I don't have the money.

and i told my friend, and he said it was cool and that we should just trip out in the desert tomorow afternoon, i thought this was a cool idea cuz there is a perfect place far away from cops/people that would be perfect for frying at.

Now quite honestly I think I could probably throw together the required 15$ to get a weekend pass to this festival. But after conspiring with my friend about just tripping in the desert, im thinking that we should just do that instead of taking our chances at the festival. I'm a pretty experienced tripper, but have only tripped at 2 festies before. These are supposed to be some mean fuckin mushies. I know that I can handle myself pretty well when im tripping, but on 3.5g things usually always get out of hand.

So do you think the festival vibe will over power the intensity of the trip?
I mean we can always just get a bottle and some weed and just have ourselves a party at the jam all weekend, no problem, infact that sounds like fun. But then again the last 2 concert trips have been the funnest times of my life.

the conclusion has been reached NOT to trip at the festy

the bands are not conducive to tripping....now if i was going to the allman bros concert at the gorge....doses up haha:lsd:

i already know a lot of people going to that dead show this weekend who already are taking supplies to blow that shit up.
unfortunately im not going :mad:
