Found - Leccinum Scabrum
    #10330139 -

Was out wandering today around where I work and was contemplating what I was going to do with all the Amanita Panthers (nothing, they scare me.)  I wandered past my usual Birch Bolete spot and was quite surprised to actually see these little buggers growing already.  I've only been hunting mushrooms since last fall, so I don't have any year-to-year experience, but I thought these were late summer, early fall types.  But I'm quite confident that's what these are:

Anyway.  Tomorrow night is hamburgers on the grill with sateed mushrooms and swiss cheese!

It's been a long winter.  I'm excited to see some mycological life starting to spring up around here!
