Isn't that school a private school? If so, the rest of the world needs to SHUT THE FUCK UP. If his family wants to pay for this kid to be educated at an institution that dislikes individual rights, SO BE IT. It does not need to be broadcast across every morning news program in the damn nation.

But if they don't talk about the mexican piggie flu and the kid who got suspended from school and octomom, what will they talk about to keep us distracted from the fact that they are selling our country down the drain right under our noses to benefit their own pocket books and slowly but systematically stripping our rights from us and abandoning the constitution?

It's not "a point". It is the entire point.

If people want to pay for their children to have their rights trampled in the pursuit of "glorifying god", go for it. But don't come crying to me, my neighbors, or worst of all, the fucking American media, when those rights are indeed trampled.

That douchebag kid should not be flying to New York to be interviewed by some half-wit "news" anchor. He should be sitting in his room wondering why he's such a fucking moron for disobeying his school's rules. Or wondering why his parents would prefer he go to an evangelical school rather than receiving a "quality" public education.

This kid should grow some balls and quit being a little bitch. He may have been fed some outlandish theology at that school, but I'd be willing to bet that academically speaking he is far better off than most public school kids his age.

Plenty of students do just fine with "public education".

EDIT: But back on topic, if its a private school, they can do as they wish.  They should be bringing his parents to NY for an interview.

Yes private schools have the right to make their own rules for what they do in there and what they wear etc  at that school NOT outside the school.  There is a difference.

Lighten up on the kid already.  I was in the same boat nearly 40 years ago.  I had the option from my folks of going to a fundamentalist christian college or no college at all.  I didn't have my own money to pay my way at sixteen years old, so I had to go to the christian college.  One Saturday, I was working off campus cleaning up construction sites as a part time job, and one of the 'teachers' drove by and spotted me wearing a pair of cutoffs and no shirt in 100 degree weather.  It got me expelled, and they kept my dad's money.  The school didn't even have that in the rule book, which was about ten times thicker than the bible, but they kicked me out anyway because "I should have known that to take off my shirt on a construction site was contrary to the will of the lord". :rolleyes:

People should know about these uneducated bigots holding on to an ancient middle-eastern religion, and their plan for the world.  They claim christianity is under attack, but it's actually they who are attacking the rest of us.  The positive outcome of the above is that I've refused to step a single foot inside a church ever since then.  I saw their true color, and it's blacker than night.
