found some nice mushies. need a varification on identification..
    #10322190 -

i consider my self a well educated n00b. but i still need some extra aid. im new to the site and ive never tripped before but i would like to in the very near future.
ive gone hunting a few times and thrown a lot of questionable shrooms back, but these are the first ive found to match a decent description.
i found them after about a week of rain in cental w.va. in an area with roaming horses and rich soils.
ive made tea out of a few smaller ones i picked yesterday because i was quite sure of my idenification......but i didnt trip. they were still moist and meaty....not dusty when they were grinded up. should they dry for longer or something....are they bad and i should give up on them?
what should i notice when examining/identifying/consuming/feeling the effects of a good mushroom.

i really want to get into this amazing field of intrest. a lot of my friends experment with shrooms but they just buy em from a guy and eat what ever theyer given. that sounds pretty dumb to me. i want the whole experience of picking drying identifying...the whole caboodle.

heres the info:

Habitat:
one set down hill from a horse manure pile the other in a wooded area where horses graze. shaded areas with a moise compost like soil.

Gills:
cinnamin brown turn dark maroon black when when or aged. the gills do not surpase the margin.

Stem:
.5-1cm wide 3-5 inches long. browning off white. no blue bruising seen.

Cap:
brown golden off white. dark brown when aged of moist. a small nipple at the top.. margin becomes wavy with age. a sort of fuzz seems to cover the cap

Spore print color:
some were a light grey to black color and other younger mushies left a grey purple toned print.
ofcourse i am skepticle of a true purple colour since i really want to see purple..lol

Bruising:
browning on stem and blackening on cap. stem separates after damage

Other information:
i dont know what it should smell like...but very shroomy, destict sort of mudd smell

veil present white fibers with a light purple black residue.

here are my pics.
this is about one fifth of what i could have if ippicked the entire area.
