There was a thread about dubfx a couple days ago:

He puts reggae and dubstep together with acappella. I'd recommend you check out kromestar, rusko or reso. They all have reggae-influenced tracks :super:

And those songs are awesome, looking for ones with some reggae rap but those are good too.

what the hell is all this "dub" shit i hear of? what does "dub" mean?

everytime i hear that word, i think of stupid black people talkin about the dubs on their cars, or they want a dub sack.

I think it is another word for "sampling",just another way of saying/doing that.:grin:

It is the name of my posted song as well.I forget the artist(s) name(s) who made it.

no it isn't.

dubstep is something different.

dub = a genre of reggae involving sampling (often with a lot of delay, phase, echo, etc) over usually instrumental tracks, and adding vocals atop of it.

e.g., lee scratch perry, mad professor, scientist, augustus pablo, etc
