Re: Should gay couples be permitted to adopt? [Re: virus1824]

i never understood all the hype about gays getting married and having kids.

theyre just as capable as anyone else. i mean, its not like gays arent people.

saying they cant get married and have kids because theyre gay, is the same as saying someone cant get married or have kids because they have brown hair... its ridiculous.

ITS JUST WRONG MMKAY :FattyNoneck:  :hillbilly:

There's something wrong with you son....
Sure I can explain it.... It's my personal belief that a Mother and a Father can raise a kid better than two men, two women, or one of each.
Even with all the silly arguments... you know damn well it works better.
As for two men adopting a little girl... I think it's best if there was an actual woman there, rather than a sissy boy pretending to be some dude's wife.
And No, I don't think the government should let the gays get their way on this one...  I used to work with a guy who went to adopt and the agency refused him because he and his wife were slightly under an appropriate income level.... other than that he was a good ol' boy with good values... I Say make the gays wait in line because a bigger issue to me is that good working class straight people are getting turned down because they're not rich.

Grow up kids and think with your heads and not your assholes.
"Just my personal opinion."

I'm actually pro gay people able to marry, so where u get that i have no clue. and last time i checked a book gay men were not able to reproduce on their own, and girls only through medical IVF which still wouldn't make them both biological parents.

you are quite dense arent you?

the right to adopt children..what the FUCK else would i be talking about.  everyone should have that right.

sorry but it is NOT the point.  there are broken families everywhere that started out as man and woman.  mine included.  it did quite a bit of psychological damage to me.  so if that is happening already everywhere, how can your point that gays will damage their kids because they cannot provide the right parenting make any sense?  its already happening daily man...why not let gays give it a shot.

you really dont get this and im sorry..

Everyone? heroine addicts? alcohol addicts? pedophiles? I think there are quite a few exceptions to your statement i think you will agree.

I can also speak for that category with alot of experience.

It makes sense in a biological way to raise a infant, and in a psychological way.

I would like to remind you that my point is as valid as any other, if you cant bring enough empathy to remotely view my point then a discussion is useless. i am not here to be convinced by your points, since you make none.

No man you misunderstood im not hating anything. just pun intended.

I respect your opinion, like i stated i am not all against adoption by gay couples. i just dont think its the best option for a baby to be completely raised that way. for other situations a completely different perspective may be required. Of course if it was either the black and white situation like: alcohol aggressive dad, and a mother on crack all the time vs 2 gay people, with high quality standard of life and high education the choice would be rather simple obviously.

We just have to agree to disagree. :whoo:

Apparently we have many very liberal people here when it comes to this topic. As i respect all opinions and can relate to it. they are all opinions none the less. No one can say for fact if is bad for the development for the child or not.  I say the chances are very probable in the long run with small babies and infants. for extended periods of time. and other than some nice positive stories. noone can say for certain it wont be. damaging For closure i would like to state a recent study:

Lesbian and bi sexual women have more psychosocial health complaints than their hetero counterparts. They suffer from stigmatizing about their sexuality. they have sleeping problems, suffer from fear, depressive feelings, are suspicious and think that they cannot function properly. This are the conclusions of a study performed by the University of Amsterdam. Interviewed 1327 lesbian and bi sexual women. The study was in assignment of Stichting ondersteboven.

mind you a organisation about lesbian acceptance by society.

my source in dutch im sorry: you can find it here:

http://www.dag.nl/binnenland/lesbiennes-vaker-depressief-en-moe-256236

In the end how it will go.. i hope it will always be in best interest of the child.

i understand where youre coming from, but the fact is, people are fucked up everywhere you go.

there are freaks and creeps of all shapes, sizes, and colors.

and those people shouldnt be able to have kids.

but in my opinion, sexuality isnt chosen. its something youre born with. that study probably isnt too far from the truth, because of all the bullshit lesbian and bi-sexual women put up with.

and its shit like what youre posting here, that makes these studies true. i cant say for sure, but id bet my left nut that the numbers of psychologically fucked up gay women would be much smaller if they were just given equal opportunity to do all the things straight people could do, without dealing with all the bullshit.
