to proud to ask parents for money....running out of food.

i've got about $20 on my commuter meal plan...so that means about 4 to 5 meals at the university...

the only food i have at home is an 3/4 of an old cucumber, 1/5 of an old tomatoe, can of spinach, and condiments(mustard, mayo, Woschesire, and Arby's Sauces).

i've never eaten condiments for nurishment before. this arby sauce is good.

i think tomorrow i will go donate plasma and work the hourly job.

won't get paid for another week though.

i just went and sold a 1993 1 oz. silver dollar for $13 and a 1934 Liberty dollar for $10.

ate a nice Chipotle Wrap with Broccoli Cheese soup...bought a package of bugler...and have enough money left over to get a few groceries to tie me over for the week!

hooray...for dead Uncle's coins that I found in his dresser!

$20 buys 66 lbs uncooked spaghetti or a 50lbs bag of rice.


People in the third world cook their rice in the morning, to provide food for the family throughout the day.


Pound of rice, can of tuna, can of tomato concentrate, half a leek... That should last you a day. It ain't gourmet but it aint starving either.

You idiot. Don't tell me you sold them at a coin dealer. These people are vampires! They'll sell your coin for 20 bux! Next time, take an ad out on craigslist and do a face-to-face deal. You could easily get 15 for the eagles, probably more like 16.

Go to the food bank and soup kitchen.  Every major city in america gives away free food at places like this.

10 dollars worth of food could last two weeks. Buy a watermelon, a 5-pack of chicken thighs. This thread really proves how much excess we have in this country.

not chipotle....a cafe that had a chipotle wrap on their menue. The bill was $7.04
and that was with a cup of soup and an ice tea
