Ya, I was at coventry, and ofcourse they get back together and play with a vengeance.
I really did think coventry was the end(sounded like the end but I loved every second of it).
This is one of the most insane shows I have ever heard.
To the trained ear they have tweaked alot of shit, trey is using his funky effects again for example.
They can play everything and by relearning some of their hardest songs they have discovered new ways to play them and have *slightly reworked them.
I cant believe I was not there, and when I look at the audience, you can double it!
I think its an important music link, so I thought I would post it for all the phish lovers, haters, and those who dont know what phish is about.
Ill start by posting "ghost". Ill just keep on adding shit after I watch it. I was STUNNED by how well they played.
Its like 1991 had a big fat baby with 1998, and then that baby had a baby with 2000.

Really, no one gave a shit about a phish reunion thread, thats pretty amazing.
Its weird. I know alot of people who dont like phish just because so many hippies and weirdos think they are the shit and they dont want to seem like little hipster phish fans and weirdos, etc etc(its sad)(its much cooler to be down with the dead and all the WEIRD SHIT they did). They wouldnt know good music if it kicked them in the balls, and thats because they dont really like music all that much. Dont really listen to music much but claim to be so passionate about music.
Its true, phish is far too weird for most people to like and then to eventually understand to the point of really getting into what they do.
I was all happy, and trying to get these videos out there for fans and people who are in the dark about this band.
Anyways, ill bump it one time just to see if nobody who chills on the music and arts forum actually thought this shit was amazing, reworked, new, and great.

were you there (hampton)?
first time i saw phish was 2003, and by that point they already weren't really having fun playing with one-another (the tension between trey & page was tangible). hampton was the first time i saw the boys actually geeking out and having fun. best phish i've ever seen, hands down.
