uk festivals

Any of you british shroomerites hitting up any festivals this summer?

I'm sorting out my tickets for waveform & glade at the moment, I really want to go to sunrise but as luck would have it, its the weekend before I start my exams :frown:.

If I can get some festival work I intend to go to some of the smaller ones as well (like out of the ordinary), as they have the best communities evarr :grin:.

What's your plan?

I did Waveform last year.  Those green toilets fucking stank up the whole place man.  It was literally just a cess pit that you had to hover over and crap down a hole.  They didn't even have doors so everyone could watch you and there was NO portaloos. :puke:

I'm cool with dropping a wild one but that place was sick :puke:  Other than that it was a banging festival.  More drugs there than I've ever seen at any festival, lol.

I'm not going to any this year though except for some local ones that I can work at.  I'm doing a fair bit of traveling this summer instead.  Off to Germany soon. :cool:

Yeah ooto and ragged hedge had those bait composting toilets.. Last year I went to the big chill.. and the portaloos where absolutely raw.

Mate when you start tripping and rushing your face off (acid & mdma) in one of those grotty as fuck, so full of piss shit and vomit that they're starting to overflow...Words cannot describe it :puke:.

Give me composting toilets any day :lol:.

Festival toilets are something else. I went to oxygen four years ago.

On the last day,after a 45 minute wait to use one,I open up the door to the rotting stench of a mountain of foul turds,a mountain much higher than the toilet itself.:puke: Gives a new meaning to hovering.

There were plenty of free toilets but I saw people open the doors, get empty reaches and slam them shut again. Yummy

We were gonna go and squirm one out on the managers desk at waveform, how the hell did they expect 4 toilets to serve a whole fucking festival!

In the end my mate was crapping in a bin bag in his tent!

I remember alright,people tore a hole in one of the side fences and started going in the neighbouring field.  A disaster zone I'd say.

Any of you guys do the whole free party scene? The weather is actually starting to get decent, so its time for big ole speakers in the forest :grin:.

haven't thought of anything but sunrise so far in the UK
am definitely going to several festivals in germany (waldfrieden and spiritual healing) & hungary (ozora)

glade eh? hm there's a thought...
how do you get festival work?

You can apply by looking at their websites, although all the work I've done has been by knowing people that organsie things in the festivals.  Its quite popular work!

Yeah I met these group of people that run a cafe that festival hops. Me, my girlfriend and my brother got talking with them and ended up smoking loads of tasty hash & primo weed with the people and they invited us to come along with them :laugh:.
