I figured I would post up some e-literature I have on my comp.  These are key chapters from a book on understanding open market operations.

Ch1- Introduction
Ch2- Monetary Policy & the Economy
Ch4- Decisions of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC)
Ch5- Implementing Monetary Policy I
Ch6- Implementing Monetary Policy II



This isn't a book about why the Fed does what it does - just how.  In case you all are interested, this is what happens when they print all that funny money.

They're not too long, max 10 pages I think.  Well worth the read incase you'd like some formal education about how the fed conducts their policy operations
